Make sure to search for “fork in the road Orlando” or you will end up going through pages to find this website. Once there, the website offers mouth watering information.
The menu consist of sandwiches, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream. But these are not your regular stuff. This is some interesting kicked up a notch kinda stuff. Their Paella dog has saffron rice; the nachos has a variety of toppings; ice cream sandwiched between cookies and donuts; and a couple of signature sandwiches. We settled on the Signature Sandwiches, Pork Belly Banh Mi 72 hour braised pork belly, sweet chili aioli, pickled carrot & daikon, cucumber, cilantro on a toasted baguette which was bright in flavors and textures but soggy in juices and Shorty 72 hour braised short rib, horseradish Dijon aioli, pickled red onions, shaved fennel on toasted baguette which packed an ample punch of flavors and texture.
The man behind the magic is a French Culinary Institute graduate who has worked at Michelin stared Per Se, Asia De Cuba, Barbuto, Luma on Park, Puff’n Stuff Catering, The Funky Monkey Wine Company, and Draft Global Beer Lounge & Grill. As the menu tantalizes the eyes and brain I am still a little confused about that soggy Banh Mi. Go figure….
