Lunar New Year Celebration in Orlando

One of the many treasures of Orlando is our great weather. Which makes it an ideal venue for outdoor events. The Asian community blocked off a parking lot Downtown and celebrated in grand style.

The organizers assembled a host of sponsors to make a truly community event. A parking lot in the Mills 50 District was blocked off with Food trucks on one side and open access on the other. In the middle was a performance stage. Surrounding the lot were several local businesses networking.

It wouldn’t be a festival without street performers and food. The large Bom Gall stand with open grill and nose leading Thai food captivated the crowd with long lines. Yumi Sandwiches, Panda Express and Teriyaki House Restaurants were serving parts of their menu. Bem Bom Food Truck and a couple of juice trucks were serving up their fare.

It was a great gathering of cultures all intermingling absorbing each other.
