Which Wich® Superior Sandwiches.
Tucked between World of Beers and Chipotle in the Dr. Phillips Market Place is the over flowing Which Wich. Born from the franchise model of standardized sandwiches and service protocols, this restaurant aims to deliver a “superior” sandwich.
The operational set up is very distinguished from all other sandwich places. Outside of the restaurant stands what looks like a coat rack. This rack holds paper bags with the printed menu. Yep, you take a maker and write your own order. Take that inside to the counter and the staff pins it to an overhead draw line, where another staff assemblies the sandwich. You pay and off you go, take out or eat in. Simple, right? Oh, you can also fill out one of these paper bag order inside the restaurant. Reminds me of a sushi list.
The Wiched Signature Sandwich – FIVE MEATS Turkey, Ham, Roast Beef, Pepperoni & Bacon THREE CHEESES cheddar, mozzarella, and feta on a toasted bun. Crisp fresh buns, meats and cheeses carried the appropriate tastes and textures.
The Surf and Turf Sandwich – Crab salad and roast beef, onions, peppers, cucumber, tomatoes. Flavors and textures all present.
The sandwiches were filling and fresh. I can’t say that there was any distinguishing characteristics as far as the food goes. The ordering system is unique. Orders can be done online and there is catering available. A fast reliable option.
