What is the bloody big deal with fish and chips anyway? This is certainly not fried fish from Long John Silver. Okay, bad comparison. Who else does good fried fish? Anyway, watch out flipper will flip out of the oil and smack you in the face. Yes it is that good. Tender, flaky, crispy crust….amazing! The “chips” well they are a whole item on their own. Not your skinny fries from Mickey Ds, or Burger King, these things got some meat on the bones and they pack a good flavor.
Although, there is a long wait for food, it is well worth it. I encourage everyone to taste the Queen‘s food once. The Brits normally know what the hell they are talking about.
Without a doubt, Cafe Rouge has the best fried haddock I’ve ever had, and I’m originally from Wisconsin where we know what a good fish fry is all about!
